Junior J2EE Developer

AdaptiveMobile are looking for J2EE Developers with 1-2 years experience in developing J2EE software solutions. You will be working on the server, client and middleware components using the best technologies to solve the problems that are presented. The successful candidate must have a genuine interest in learning new technologies and a demonstrated history of understanding and contributing to the total end-to-end solution. Good communications skills are essential. This position is located in Dublin and candidates must be authorized to work in Ireland.

 

Required Skills/Experience:

• Degree in Engineering

• Minimum of 1 year in J2EE programming

• Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming methodologies

• Experience or good knowledge of Spring, JPA, Hibernate, Jetty, JMS, JSP, Struts etc

• Knowledge of design patterns

• Experience with Unix, Python and/or other scripting language

• Hands-on experience with common developer tools (Ant, Eclipse, SVN etc.)

• Knowledge of XML/SOAP and Web service

• Understanding of test driven development

• Experience in database technologies such as Oracle and MYSQL

• Experience with Linux environments

• Flex/BlazeDS/ActionScript or telecommunications industry a plus but not mandatory

• Experience in database technologies and development such as Oracle, OLAP or MYSQL a plus
