We saw it coming… what’s been happening all around the world is finally happening in
One interesting tidbit that was highlighted: ”…about a third of those under age 30 have cell phones exclusively…” Imagine what that figure will be even just a year from now!
This is exciting, considering that not only are most people carrying around cell phones, the number of web-enabled smartphones being used are on the rise as well, according to a recent report by
So to that we say “cheers!” to the exciting growth and evolution of the “mobile frontier.” We’ll be on the frontlines to help the world safely and securely embrace this “brave new world.”
It was only a matter of time until this happened and I am sure that we will continue to see this trend spread globally. Good to see the security implications being considered though as many do not consider the threat of viruses and malware let alone the annoyance of spam! Wonder if spam and advertising will see mobile owners rushing back for their landlines!
good question, would I go back to a landline and all the insurance, mortgage, home improvement sales calls? Having a mobile at least makes it harder for outbound sales companies to know who i am, where I live and use their demographic data profiling to target me. At least with mobile spam / advertising, i dont have to pick up the phone!
