INTEROP TECHNOLOGIES TO OFFER ADAPTIVEMOBILE PARENTAL AND ENTERPRISE CONTROLS FOR MOBILE INTERNET
Under the agreement with AdaptiveMobile, Interop Technologies will help operators protect underage subscribers against mobile Internet content that their parents consider inappropriate. Parental controls can be configured for family members based on an individual’s age, interests and hobbies, and religious and cultural preferences, as well as time of day (such as during school hours), and other criteria.
The AdaptiveMobile software is being deployed as a hosted solution that works with the Interop Technologies WAP Gateway or any third-party WAP gateway.
The content filtering solution does not affect voice calling including callbacks from 911 operators to wireless users.
