Threat Reporting
AdaptiveMobile's Threat Reporting capabilities provide operators with the real-time and historical trend insights necessary to monitor the trust quotient of a network. Unlike existing network level reporting, the AdaptiveMobile Network+ Protection Platform (NPP+) focuses on delivering visibility of the level of suspicious traffic, subscriber's and external sources while providing also the tools to act upon the intelligence provided.
The reporting capabilities offered include:
- Visibility of each traffic flow identifying volumes of traffic allowed, blocked or identified as suspicious with drill down on the threats that have triggered the decision
- Visibility on the level and nature of external threats
- Reporting on the sources of suspicious or hostile inbound messaging
- Reporting on the health of the subscriber base including known infected users, and suspicious subscribers
- Visibility of the known spam and viruses transiting the network
- Reporting on the health of the network reputation, and any issues that are causing reputations to fall
- A handset based SMS Spam reporting application (SpamGuard) that collects direct spam reports from subscribers within the network
The Threat Reporting Module is integrated with the NPP+ Policy Management Console so that an operator can easily address an emerging issue by setting subscribers or sources for monitoring; apply a more restrictive policy to reduce the threat, or block the content or source altogether. Where an operator has also subscribed to the AdaptiveMobile Security Centre, the updates to filter settings and policies will be automatic, removing the need for operator administration.
The reporting is available to an operator both locally for use by administrators within the network, or in addition via a hosted reporting centre where an operator can evaluate their network against the benchmark of other operators, and be alerted to new threats as they emerge.
